PaciArte contemporary presenta Nobuyoshi Araki, fotografo di fama mondiale, noto per le polaroid in cui immortala corpi femminili in una rappresentazione simbolica della sensualità giapponese.
Ritenuto uno dei poeti dell’erotismo, nelle sue opere spazia dall’eros femminile alla vita quotidiana ritraendo le strade, i fiori, ed il cielo di Tokio.
Una sessualità ostentata che ci rimanda alla donna come simbolo di piacere, una geisha dei giorni nostri, un chiaro richiamo alla cultura giapponese anche grazie alle ambientazioni ed agli abiti tradizionali.
Per alcuni la vera protagonista è la corda con cui spesso lega le sue modelle, simbolo del proibito che avvolge e blocca i corpi in uno dei momenti più intimi.
Se nelle cultura occidentale questo potrebbe sembrare pornografia, in questi scatti risulta provocazione.
I soggetti hanno uno sguardo assente, come se ci fosse una spersonalizzazione, la donna come oggetto.

Collettiva riguardante il tema della donna in tutte le sue sfumature, partendo dall’aspetto sognante dei fotografi Clark & Pougnaud e Maggie Taylor passando alla difficoltà dell’ essere donna nei paesi in via di sviluppo nelle opere di Borges, arrivando alla delicata bellezza di Mario Cravo Neto e molti altri tra cui: Leslie Krims, Arthur Tress, Michal Macku, Sandy Skoglund, Mayumi Lake,Robert Mapplethorpe, Shirin Neshat…
Ogni artista mette in luce aspetti diversi attraverso il suo obiettivo, ma in tutti emerge la grande bellezza della femminilità , che sarà anche il titolo della mostra (womanliness = femminilità ).
Si segnala che gli artisti:Mario Cravo Neto, Clark & Pougnaud e Maggie Taylor saranno le “new entries” della stagione 2009- 2010 della PaciArte, in anteprima italiana.

PaciArte contemporary presents Nobuyoshi Araki, world-famed photographer, known for his Polaroid through which he immortalizes female bodies as a symbolic representation of the Japanese sensuality.
Deemed to be one of the eroticism poets, he sweeps, in his work, from feminine Eros sexual instinct to every day’s life portraying streets, flowers and the Tokyo’s sky.
A flaunted sexuality leading back to the woman as a pleasure symbol, a present days geisha, a clear recalling to the Japanese culture due also to the setting and to the traditional costumes.
For some of us the rope could be the protagonist, seeing that the artists uses it to tie his model, it is instead, a symbol of the forbidden, entwining and blocking the bodies into one of the most intimate moments.
In the Western culture this could even seem as pornography, it is instead a challenge acquired through these shots.
The subjects have an absent look as if in depersonalisation state, the woman as an object.

Collectively, it concerns the woman’s theme in all its shades, starting from the dreaming aspect of photographers Clark & Pougnaud and Maggie Taylor, going through the difficulties of being a woman in developing countries in Borges’s works, up to delicate beauty of Mario Cravo Neto and of many others such as, Leslie Krims, Arthur Tress, Michal Macku, Sandy Skoglund, Mayumi Lake, Robert Mapplethorpe and Shirin Neshat…
Different aspects are always highlighted through artists’ lenses, but the womanliness’ great beauty emerges from all of them, and “Womanliness” will be the title of the show.
The artists: Mario Cravo Neto, Clark & Pougnaud and Maggie Taylor will be the new entries
of the season 2009/2010 of PaciArte contemporary.
